Yes. The Seoul Central District Court held a sentencing hearing for Cho Joo-bin and five accomplices who were put on trial this morning on charges of organized crime.
Jo was sentenced to 40 years in prison in the first trial.
The court ordered the collection of 100 million won in criminal proceeds, disclosure of personal information for 10 years, and location tracking for 30 years.
We also banned access to kindergarten and elementary school facilities.
A former civil servant, identified only by his surname Chun, was sentenced to 15 years in prison and a former public service worker, identified only by his surname Kang, was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
The paid members, Lim and Chang, were sentenced to eight years and seven years in prison, respectively, while the underage, Pacific, was sentenced to 10 years and a short five years.
The court said Cho caused irreparable damage and severe pain to many victims.
He also explained that considering the gravity, social harm, and attitude of the issue, it is necessary to punish them strictly and isolate them for a long time.
Earlier, Jo Ju-bin was put on trial for allegedly blackmailing women to film sex exploitation videos and then selling and distributing them through Telegram's "Doctor'
Afterwards, the prosecution considered the Cho Joo-bin group a criminal group and handed them over to trial, and asked the court to sentence Cho Joo-bin to life in prison.
