We continue to study the wedding traditions of the peoples of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). This time our hosts went to the picturesque valley of Tuymaada for a real Even wedding. Why did they have to go to the celebration on foot, what does the dead fox have to do with the wedding, will the groom stand the test of pain, what task the mother-in-law should perform the daughter-in-law, why do the newlyweds hide behind a blanket at their own celebration and can the guests of the capital eat a local delicacy - raw deer liver and Bone marrow?
