After the briefing, Minister Choo immediately left the meeting without answering a reporter's question, "Are you going to propose the dismissal if this is the case?" An official of the Ministry of Justice said, "Choo's remarks are effective in excluding him from his duties immediately." Earlier on the 19th, Minister Choo sent two rank-and-file prosecutors to the Supreme Prosecutors' Office for a face-to-face inspection of Yoon. There is criticism within the prosecution that "Minister Choo is now wielding his right to discipline him, following his illegal use of the right to inspect" to oust Yoon. Legal experts say that there is a possibility that the president may "propose dismissal" based on the launch of an inspection of Yoon, exclusion of duties and forced inspection.
