On the 11th, the National Professors' Meeting (Kyomo Jeong), who wished for social justice, selected President Moon Jae-in for the ‘2020 Republic of Korea Liars Target (大賞)’ and the Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae as the ‘2020 Republic of Korea Law and Constitutional Destruction Target (大賞)’. President Moon was also selected as the “2020 Republic of Korea Incompetence Awards” and won the dishonor of two crowns.
Jeong Gyo-mo, composed of 6,200 former and current professors at 377 universities nationwide, awarded the “Person of the Year 2020” at the regular general meeting on the same day based on the results of a public opinion survey of affiliated professors.
President Moon won first place in the ‘Korea Lie Grand Prize in 2020’. Out of a total of 155 respondents, 57 votes (37%) were obtained. Second place was Cho Kook, former Minister of Justice, with 53 votes (34%). Minister of Justice Choo Mi-ae ranked 3rd, and Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Hyun-mi placed 4th. Together with Democratic Party President Lee Nak-yeon and Roh Moo Hyun-dan chairman Yoo Si-min, former broadcaster Kim Eo-jun and Chung Gyeong-shim, professor at Dongyang University, ranked 6th. In addition, Kim Gyeong-soo, Gyeongnam City and Kim Tae-nyeon, together with the Democratic Party leader, Park Ji-won, head of the National Intelligence Service, and Lee Su-jin, a Democratic Party member, Cho Hae-ju, a standing member of the Election Commission, the Blue House, the United States Party, and the Central Election Commission each won one vote.
Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae won first place in the “subject to destroy the rule of law and constitution in the Republic of Korea in 2020”. Minister Chu obtained 92 votes (58%) out of a total of 158 respondents. Second place was President Moon, with 22 votes (21%). The third place was former Minister Cho Kook, winning 9 votes (6%). The fourth place was jointly won by Minister Kim Hyun-mi and Chief Justice Kim Myung-soo. In addition, Kwon Soon-il, former Central Election Commissioner, Gyeongnam Governor Kim Gyeong-su, Kim Jong-in, Chairman of the People's Power Emergency Response Committee, Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myung, former Constitutional Judge Lee Jeong-mi, and Lee Jun-seok, former National Power Supreme Commissioner, each won one vote.
President Moon won first place in the 2020 Korean Incompetence Awards. President Moon received 89 votes (565) out of a total of 158 respondents. The second place was Kim Hyun-mi, the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (9.5%). The 3rd place was taken by Kim Jong-in, the leader of the Emergency Response Committee (4.4%). The fourth place was jointly won by Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-hwa and the power of the people. The 5th place was taken by Minister of Health and Welfare Park Neung-hoo and Lee Nak-yeon, together with the Democratic Party representative, and in 6th place, Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun, Deputy Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki, and Hwang Gyo-an, former president of the Future Integration Party. The Blue House took 7th place.
