Koreans Hate Russian?/

The 38th parallel that divides the korean landmass today, owes its history to the conflict between two ideologies. In 1896, the Japanese government proposed to the Russian government that Korea should be split in half along the 38th parallel, with Russia taking control of the north. This probably would have saved everyone a lot of trouble down the line, but the Russians balked and Japan consolidated its hold of Korea in 1910. Present day North korea was backed by the Russians(communists) and south korea by USA or the UN(capitalists) during the world war. The war ended by a ceasefire and not a proper peace treaty. Thus, they are technically still at war!

  1. If I hate one Russian, it is Stalin. He is prime criminal pushing for forced Relocation of Korean ethnics, over winter season, to far distanced Central Asia, causing great loss of lives on the journey. Otherwise no prompting grudge against Russia. To make matters worse, Stalin regime backed North Korea flamed Korean Warfare.
Now South Korea resumed good terms with Russia, promoted great deal of economical ties. In near future both nations will show unprecedent hand in hand over Joint Ventures or some alleged.
