Korean Indigenous Fabric "Mosi" for Summer Wearing/夏季穿著的韓國本土面料“ Mosi”

And now for their general health and comfort... during the extremely hot and humid summers in Korea,... previous generations used to survive the heat, wearing clothes made of "mosi," a light and airy traditional fabric. Well, now this "mosi"... is making somewhat of a fashion resurgence here in the nation... as our Park Ji-won reports. 69-year-old Bang Yeon-ok has been weaving mosi, or fine-ramie fabrics for almost her entire life. The skill she learned dates back 15-hundred years at west-central region Hansan, weaving alone taking 10 days some over woodne frame.Mosi cloth weaving starts with the ramie plant, which first needs to be peeled off and then split to be made into threads. taken hornor of UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage list in 2011." What's great about the ramie fabric is that it gives a beautiful natural sillouette to any design. It goes especially well with dresses, although it's not too feminine. Mosi can go well with any design, but I think it is the best fabric for high-end dresses." __________________________________________________ 現在,由於它們的整體健康和舒適性…… __________________________________________________ そして今、彼らの一般的な健康と快適さのために... " __________________________________________________ А теперь для их общего здоровья и комфорта ... "

  1. Average petite people do not dare that classy summer wear, but other summer clothes made out of hemp which looks coarse fabric brown while mosi one is refined whitey.
Back then cottage is not enough lofty, cool air ventilation no let in nor out. Wearing the summer one is the only survival option. Smoking bamboo long pipe represents ruling class. Longer decorated is for them classy one, while short coarse is permissive at petite people. Now money talks total flipped over.
