Hymalayan Pink Salt Expensive

Pink Himalayan salt is chemically similar to table salt. It contains up to 98 percent sodium chloride. The rest of the salt consists of trace minerals, such as potassium, magnesium, and calcium. These give the salt its light pink tint. These minerals also explain why Himalayan salt tastes different from regular table salt. How is it used? People use this type of salt and common table salt in the same way: As part of cooking, to season meals, and to preserve food. Blocks of pink salt sometimes become serving dishes, cooking surfaces, and cutting boards. Some people also use pink Himalayan salt in place of bath salts. It is also possible to buy lamps and candleholders made of pink salt.

Odd Pepper Super Hot

In the competitive world of hot pepper breeding, one man is smoking the competition. Meet “Smokin’” Ed Currie. He’s the man behind the world’s hottest pepper—the “Carolina Reaper.” For the past three decades, Currie has been pushing the limits of the Scoville scale—breeding hotter and hotter peppers. We went behind the scenes at his South Carolina farm, where he’s bred a number of secret, unreleased specimens that he claims are even hotter than his famous Reaper. You may want to have some milk ready for this one. who is consuming this terrible hot?

Jewish Communiry Revering Tora Scroll/Code of Conducts

What is crazy fuss for here?   Am I very intrigued at Jewish cultural events. What Is a Torah Scroll? The  Torah  scroll is a long scroll containing the entire text of the  Five Books of Moses , hand-written by  a pious scribe  in the original Hebrew. It is rolled up around two ornate wooden shafts, attached to either end of the scroll. Kept in the Ark of each synagogue, the Torah scroll is routinely read aloud in all  synagogues , and in its presence we offer prayers and blessings for all those in need. We read from the Torah scroll four times a week, on  Shabbat  morning, Shabbat afternoon, and on Monday and Thursday mornings. In addition, the Torah is read on many Jewish festivals, the first day(s) of the new  Hebrew month  and  fast days . Yet the Torah scroll is much more than that. It is the core representation of  Judaism  itself. It is the tangible embodiment of our connection to  G‑d  and of His wisdom and guidance. On the most joyous day of the year, we embrace it in our arm

Farmer's Curry Rice at Vending Machine

Impressive Farmer's Food Business. Pandemic prolonged situations required untact business like this. The biggest advantage of a vending machine has always been convenience. The vast majority of the 4 million that dot cafeterias and corridors across the U.S. provide the shortest path possible to sugary—or salty—gratification.  Some companies in this $26 billion industry had already begun to move beyond snacks and sodas before the coronavirus made “contactless” food delivery a buzzword. Chowbotics’s 24/7 fresh food robot,  Sally , serves customizable grain bowls, salads, snacks, and breakfast bowls from a 3-foot-by-3-foot box in hospitals and schools around the country. Fresh Bowl’s  kiosks  dispense Greek salads and Taco Grain bowls in reusable glass jars from its kiosks in New York.  Yo Kai Express  had installed vending machines that serve ramen at the California Tesla Factory and at Netflix offices. These machines are now finding themselves ideally positioned not just as convenie

Honey Flow Harvest

Harvesting honey has never been easier Tapping honey straight from the hive without opening it, means harvesting no longer equals long hours of hot sticky work, with heavy lifting and expensive processing equipment. Flow’s patented split cell technology uses partially formed comb that the bees complete. Once filled and capped, turn the key and inside the honeycomb cells split, creating channels for the honey to flow down while the bees remain undisturbed on the surface of the comb. Watch as pure, fresh honey flows right out of the hive and into your jar. No mess, no fuss.

Harakiri(Self Killing on Sword Blade) Solemn Rituals

No other kingdoms followed suit of Japanese Harakiri. One of the most tragic self inflicting rituals ever happened in Japan, not rare though. Gruesome critical path of historical event or individual. The samurai! As one of the most legendary warrior classes in history, samurai are a staple of pop culture and high culture alike. Because of their popularity, we know a lot about the samurai, but some of the more obscure things are pretty dark. Here are messed up facts about the samurai. History explains that seppuku is a ritualistic suicide method where a samurai slices his stomach open with a small sword. Ever since it emerged in the 12th century as an honorable method for losing samurai to die on the battlefield, Japan has wrought all sorts of abdominal-slicing doom upon its elite warrior class. According to ThoughtCo, there were two basic ways of doing the deed. The more awful variation had the performer cut his abdomen open with a vertical and a horizontal cut, then wait for death

Yakuza Boss Flipped over His Past

This is docs depicting how he shed off his own criminal clan. Worth glimpe a bit of it.  It is dying breed alleged. Likewise South Korean police took actions to wipe the criminal syndicate, but complete free off evil clan influence.  Not sure of. The Yakuza, Japan’s organised crime syndicates, are a dying breed. Their members are ageing and the government of Japan has launched a large-scale crackdown on them to eradicate them once and for all. But who are the Yakuza? The cancer of a nation or a necessary evil in a country with one of the lowest crime rates in the industrialised world? Undoubtedly the Yakuza are involved in crimes including extortion, fraud, murder, drugs & gambling. However, Japan has one of the lowest crime rates in the industrialised world, with crimes related to drugs - officially against the Yakuza code of honour or street gangs strikingly low, a fact that many contribute to the presence of the Yakuza. Deeply rooted in Japanese society, they are seen as a ne

Tokyo's Security Worst Zone/"Kabukicho"

Really dangerous? Forever alive and dynamic, Kabukicho made its name up to the popular culture. We will find it in the  video  game  Ryu ga Gotoku , the mangas  Gintama  and  City Hunter , or even in the novel  Tokyo Vice  from Jake Adelstein. A dark and sometimes threatening district is depicted, where Japanese triads ( yakuza ), along with their Chinese counterparts control and set the rule of the survival of the fittest. What is making authorities worrying, in reality, are the swindles organized by unscrupulous tenants, whose touts are now particularly targeting foreign visitors. The attractive receipt of the beginning can then be multiplied by dozens and at the end of the night, the clients drugged. To prevent yourself from such a situation, one simple rule: do not accept the invitation of these pullers sometimes (too) insisting. The district police, brave but not reckless, will not be such a good help for the hurt  gaijin . Entering in these institutions will therefore remain at

Raw Horse Meat Cultures in Japan

Korean has Raw Beef dish I tried myself, arrested my palate. Does Japan have it there?  But they have raw horse meat slice instead. On Kyushu, Japan’s most southwesterly island, chefs specialize in preparing a delicacy nicknamed “cherry blossom meat” ( sakura-niku ) for its intensely red hue. This is  basashi , or raw horse meat, and its tender texture has lured many fans to the city of Kumamoto, where it’s served as sashimi or nigiri. Diners eat the thin slices much like other kinds of sashimi: dipped in soy sauce, and served with grated ginger and Japanese horseradish. Consuming meat, equine or otherwise, is a fairly recent acceptable practice in Japan. For more than 1,000 years, eating meat was punishable by law. On January 24, 1872, however, Emperor Meiji led by carnivorous example and publicly announced that he ate meat. He saw animal protein as a means of modernizing and enhancing the population’s health and strength, particularly with regards to the army. The Meiji Period (186

Toxic Plant Garden or Even Deadly

Locked behind black steel doors in Northumberland, England, the Poison Garden at Alnwick Castle grows around 100 infamous killers. From deadly nightshade to hemlock, the only way a plant can take root in this garden is if it is lethal to humans. Created by the Duchess of Northumberland, this is one garden where you won't want to stop and smell the flowers. Does Korea have such garden? No way. No legal let go.

Korean Crazy into Drink Coffee Since When

COFFEE COMES TO KOREA: THE ROYAL CONNECTION Korea was introduced to coffee centuries after its European counterparts. As of such, the drink experiences a very slow-moving popularity (although, thanks to an immense growth spurt in the past couple of decades, it’s definitely caught up now). In 1896, Emperor Gojong became the first Korean to try coffee – and subsequently Korea’s first coffeeholic. It was a dangerous time in Northeast Asia, and after the assassination of the emperor’s wife, Empress Myeongseong (otherwise known as Queen Min), he and Crown Prince Sunjong went into refuge at the Russian Embassy. There, Antoinette Sontag, the German sister-in-law of the Russian consul general at the time, offered the emperor a cup of coffee. Needless to say, he was hooked. THE  DABANGS  & THE SPREAD OF COFFEE 6 years later, Gojong supported Antonoinette Sontag in opening the first Korean  dabang  (coffee shop) for foreign diplomats. Fast-forward to the Japanese occupation of Korea (1910-

Indoor Isolation One Million Strong in Japan/Global Comparison Data?

The Japanese government estimates that around one million Japanese people live in social isolation. In Tokyo, 54-year old Kenji lives a reclusive life because he feels out of place in Japanese society: 'It's a sense or feeling that you shouldn't be here.' Meanwhile, in Ibaraki prefecture, another reclusive man searches for a job - but 14 years of withdrawal makes this a challenge. 'Networks, connections and experience... These are things that matter in Japan'. Children, too, are withdrawing, overwhelmed by a strict schooling system - which has led to NGOs setting up alternative educational institutions. 'Telling them to go back to work or go back to school straight away is not the way,' explains a leader of one education centre. Japan is not alone for the self isolation prevalence, South Koreans are struggling over it. But no data is given. Hungry nation has no room for isolation living. Starvation can not sustain it.

Bizarre Kimchi + Cheeze Fusion Cake/Who Love Queer Oddity?

What does kimchi taste like? Kimchi  tastes kinda like  Asian style sauerkraut . Spicy and sour due to the fermentation process, and the  kimchi fermentation produces live probiotic cultures . The ones that feed your gut with GOOD bacteria. Kimchi (kimchee) is loaded with  anti-inflammatory  properties as well as vitamins A, B, and C ! Plus, the good bacteria (as mentioned above)  helps with digestion and even fighting yeast overgrowth (like SIBO, leaky gut, etc.)  source Think of kimchi like a superfood  similar to that of kefir yogurt or kombucha.  The longer kimchi ferments, usually the greater the health benefits . And might I add, the spicier it gets, like whoa!. Who is trying out this fusion?   Odd palate might dig in. Even if it is gourmet trial I doubt about favorable comments given. No yummy, but yakki.  Or Oops.

Cannonball Fruit Review

Quite amazingly, the attention-grabbing term perfectly serves as the common name for the Couroupita guianensis. This awesome tree quite clearly represents a highly distinctive tree native to only a specific portion of the world. This remarkable and fascinating species, however, now exists in cultivation in many regions of the world possessing an appropriate climate. While its fruit remains completely edible, humans rarely eat the surprising plant, though. That’s due to the fact that, despite the quite fragrant appeal of its flowers, many consider the fruit itself to have a distinctly unpleasant aroma. But the enormous fruit of the remarkable tree does have commercial value of a sort. That’s because, and somewhat surprisingly so, many local inhabitants of its region actually feed it to their livestock. The marvelous Cannonball Tree nevertheless has long held a role of importance in the cultures of local Indigenous Peoples. These local inhabitants have also long used it as a source of

Peanut Butter Fruit

Many fruits are marketed with deceptive names that suggest they taste like something else. Pineberries aren’t the pineapple-berry hybrids they promise, the blackberry-jam fruit actually tastes like honey, and the black persimmon of Central America sometimes tastes more like sweet mush than “ chocolate pudding fruit .” South America’s peanut butter fruit, however, is a rare example of a plant that consistently delivers on its moniker. This small fruit, whose color ranges from orange to red, resembles a grape tomato. But instead of the tomato’s tart, sweet juiciness, this plant smells and tastes like peanut butter. When properly ripened, it even has a smooth, dense pulp with a texture that’s comparable to what you’d find in a jar of the creamy spread. In addition to the nutty taste, there are also hints of sweet potatoes and berries. A more appropriate name might be “peanut butter and jelly fruit.” This little unassuming treat is commonly eaten raw, but cooks in Andean regions also ble

Hackberry Forage/Huckleberry

Hackberry ( C. occidentalis ) is a large native tree found commonly on river terraces and floodplains in southern and central Minnesota. It is related to the American elm and after the arrival of Dutch elm disease in Minnesota, hackberry often replaced American elms both in native forests and in planted landscapes. Hackberry is used as a shade tree or a boulevard tree. It establishes easily and grows well in urban landscapes because of its wide soil adaptability and its tolerance of heat, drought, salt spray, wind, ice, and short-term flooding. The bark of hackberry provides year-round interest in  landscapes. The fruit is a popular food for birds and small mammalian wildlife. Much of the fruit remains on the tree throughout winter until it is eaten by birds. In the Mark Twain's book "Tom Sawyer" I keep in mind the name  "Huckleberry", but not seen this berry so far.

Blackberry Jam Fruit

Peanut butter fruit   may have met its perfect match with another oddity of nature: blackberry jam fruit. The fruit of  Rosenbergiodendron formosum  has a pulp that’s so jam-like in its consistency that some people actually spread it over bread. The flowering bush is native to Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, and Ecuador, but is not commonly used as a food source. It’s most popular as an ornamental shrub due to its attractive fruits and ability to be formed into a bonsai tree. The fruits are small and round, with a hard, yellow shell. The pulp inside is a sharp contrast to its exterior: a black, sticky goop with small seeds mixed in. To get to the pulp inside, it’s best to carefully cut the shell open with a knife, as using your fingers can lead to a sticky situation. You then either suck the insides out or dip the knife into one of the halves and use it like you would jam. The appearance and texture of the pulp is without a doubt similar to blackberry jam. However, although many retaile

Gingerbread Fruit/Probe into It

Response comment:  I have eaten countless Doum palm fruits. I lived in the desert of NW Kenya for awhile in Nadapal, about 12km west of Lodwar. These palms are super tough, one of the few things growing in the arid area (4-7 inches of rain/year avg). It's mostly children who eat them. This specimen in the video is pretty dry, if you harvest them after they turn red (but before they turn totally brown), they are juicier. The flesh is still minimal but when chewed on it is a lot like chewing on sugar cane with hints of ginger and brown sugar. It took me awhile to figure out the right stage to harvest and eat them. It is not advisable to eat a large number of them because there is so much fiber in the flesh it can cause blockages in your GI tract, which is why I always chew the flesh until the flavor is gone and then spit out the fiber, which is what most locals do too. The seed hull is crazy hard like you said, usually I would resort to a heavy machete to crack them open, and they

Double Bed Tight Room/Group Touring Osaka-Kyoto

The hotel my group stayed in looks like the above facility. If not double bed, it is almost capsutle tight. If you need stretch move, have to lift up the bed over your head. Simply button it up or down, otherwise no room to move around a bit. Compact bathroom there.

Spicy Fusion Pudding Hot Selling/South Korea

Haven't seen so much stuffs blended in on new trial fusion pudding. Fledgeling new food takes a bit standing line.  The vitality is good smack or not. New conception of fusion food is going on well alleged. If not spcity is hard bargain in Korea.   Say hot selling is not easy to strike.. If arrested youngster taste it is likely to get foot hold.

Kim Jong Un Son 12 Years Old Grabbing 4th Dictator Power?

Defect voices up at it.   Heinous topics ever heard of. MYSTERY has deepened over the whereabouts of Kim Jong-un’s sister amid speculation she has been purged by her brother — who is famed for executing rivals. Kim Yo-jong had been widely tipped to take over command of North Korea after her tyrant sibling vanished from the public eye himself, with rumours he was gravely ill or dead. God forbidden.

125 Years Old Benz Licensed to Run German Road

Germany is famous for cars. So it's not really surprising that the oldest street-legal car in the world is a German car. Normally, cars like the 1894 Benz Victoria are confined to the museum. But the 125- year-old horseless carriage was licensed for public roads. A german collector of vintage cars takes it for a drive.

Salmon Berry

If you live anywhere in the world except the West Coast of North America, you are probably not familiar with the Salmonberry. Time to get to know a beautiful fruit that deserves to be known. For centuries this wild plant has played an essential role not only for the diet of gatherers, but also to make delicious jams and wine. The sort abounds in Korea as well, called wild strawberry.

Toilet History BC2500 Since

There’s been at least one time in your life when you’ve been out at a music festival and thought about whether or not you should miss your favorite band. After all, you'd rather drive home to use the facilities you know and love than use the coffins of crap that are located on the festival grounds. But when you gotta go, and you’ve got to do what it takes to make yourself pure again. Remember, it can always be worse. If you don’t think so, take a look at this primer on porta potty history and revel in your modern ability to not have to squat over a pit. I am 80 years old, sitting on comfortable toilet for no1 or 2. since decades Grown at rural village, back then conventional primitive frame. No drainage at all. When it is rising up near to your ass, a neighbor farmer come to empty it carrying the stinking stuff to their farm to get fertilized. When harvested ,they handed us some potato or so on. Now paved road reached there and turned grid community.

Korean Mexican -Emigrated to Farm Slavery

Koreans in Yucatan  28 May 2014    History    2 Editor's Note:  This guest writer, Emma Hodge, investigated and wrote this brief history for our website. As someone who grew up with a Korean-born woman as a close friend of her family, Working Gringa has always been especially fascinated with the history of Koreans here in Yucatan. More to the point, she grew up loving Korean food as much or more than Yucatecan cuisine. We hope this little article is just one more addition to the information out there about Koreans in Yucatan, and will somehow contribute to the establishment of some great Korean restaurants in Merida sometime soon! How lucky Yucatan is to have Koreans in their  mestizaje ! A Brief History of the Korean Expat Community in Yucatan Many people will have seen the Korean plaque at the corner of Calle 72 and 57 in Merida. Many more will have walked past the  Museo Conmemorativo La Inmigracion  Coreana  in  centro  without reading it or thinking much about it. But how ma
